The Latest with the Langfords

Hello, hello from the Langford house!

Justine had her 18 month check up today (even though she is 19 months old now). She is growing right on target. She weighed almost 23 pounds (60th %) and is 32 inches tall (90%). She is such a big girl now. I told her we were going to see the doctor when we pulled in to the parking lot and she said "doctor". Then, she was an even bigger girl because she didn't cry at all when getting her shot! We went out for ice cream afterwards to celebrate her being such a good girl at the doctor. We received great news...she didn't require more bloodwork to test for the yucky stuff her birth mom had. The doctor said she is fine unless she is exposed to hepatitis. Then we received even better news. We found out that they will be adding a new doctor to their practice next month. It's Dr. Stacy who was her doctor at Children's Hospital while she was in foster care. That made me very happy. We will see her at her 2 year check up this summer.

After the doctor visit and ice cream we just had to stop by the house. There were more brick layers working then I could count. The building supervisor was there and he told us they are working until about 10pm tonight because they must complete the brick tonight to stay on schedule. We are the very last house to be bricked. They A/C guy was installing the inside a/c unit and air vents. All the ceramic tile was finished and one of the damaged kitchen cabinets had been replaced. All the elecrical, plumbing, and HVAC should be complete tomorrow. Next week we get carpet and grass and next weekend a fence. Our walk thru will be the week following that. We are getting so close I can just taste it!

After looking at the house we noticed a bunch of stone in a trash pile. We decided to sort out all the good stone and keep it. Justine can be such a copy cat. She did exactly what Daddy did but on a smaller scale.

That's all for now. Have a great rest of the week.
Cindy
