Just a quick note to let you know the latest on the search to complete our family.
Over a month ago we were submitted for Dimitrios. As of today I received word that they withdrew the search for a new family until they terminate his parents rights. Our agency said if she gets a new bulletin for him we will be resubmitted. When that happens it will be as a straight adoption.
The caseworkers for Jason (almost age 1) are still reading through home studies so we are still in the running for him.
We also agreed to foster one child up to age one from the polygamist compound. These placements are stressed as foster only and up to 2 years or more. All we've done with that is put our name on the list. Nothing more about a placement.
My prayer is that when we do get a placement it will be a done deal. Justine still talks about Baby Zaira that we babysat for a couple of weeks. I can't imagine having a child full time for any amount of time then sending him on. I now worry more about Justine than Waylan and myself.
