In the car on the way home, driving in sleet:
Mommy: "I'm pausing your movie so I can listen to the weatherman."
Justine: "Turn my movie back on."
Mommy: "I'm still waiting on the weatherman."
Justine: "It's cold!"


At dinner:
Mommy: "Stop picking [your nose]."
Justine: "It itches."


Also at dinner: (she had just taken her socks off)
Justine: "My feet are cold."
Mommy: "Why did you take your socks off then?"
Justine: "My feet are cold cause I ate too much candy."
Mommy: laughs!

Talking to Waylan on the phone:
Justine: "You coming home?"
Daddy: "Yes, I'm coming home to see you."
Justine: "You forgot Baby Bubba!!"
(No worries, she wasn't saying that Waylan forgot to bring him. But rather that he forgot to say that he was coming home to see him too.)
